Christopher Allen Huneycutt, 54 years of age, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle.
Chris was born December 6, 1960 in Stanly County to the late Joe Duckery Huneycutt and the late Willie Mae Hoffner Fesperman.
The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 7 pm Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 7 pm in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Jeff Springer. At other times, the family will be gathering at the home.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Judy May Eudy Huneycutt of the home; three sons, Derrick Huneycutt and wife Shanda, Colton and Kyle Huneycutt; brother, Randy Huneycutt and wife Star; and sister, Melanie Baker, all of Stanly County.
Chris worked at Stokes Construction for 36 years. He also loved playing golf with his boys and riding horses.
Memorials may be made to American Heart Association; or Alzheimers Memory Center, Charlotte, NC.
