ALBEMARLE - Mrs. Willie Mae Fesperman, 73, of Albemarle, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Stanly Regional Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 20, 1938, daughter of the late Victor Leslie Hoffner and Gaither Stoner Hoffner. A 1956 graduate of Rockwell High School, Mrs. Fesperman worked as a caretaker for the elderly.
She was of the Baptist faith and loved gardening and tending to her flowers.
Mrs. Fesperman is survived by her sons, Chris Huneycutt and wife Judy of Mt. Pleasant and Randy Huneycutt and wife Star of Albemarle; daughter Melanie Baker and husband Ray of New London; brother Jim Hoffner of Rockwell; sister Doris Holloway of China Grove; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Service: The Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21 at the Powles Funeral Home Chapel in Rockwell. The service will be conducted by Rev. Buddy Hoffner, pastor at Bible Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Brookhill Memorial Gardens in Rockwell.
Visitation: The Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the Funeral Service on Saturday, April 21 at Powles Funeral Home.
Memorials: May be made to Hospice of Stanly County.
