Amelia Ann Barringer

Amelia Ann Barringer, 83, of Albemarle passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2020 in Bethany Woods Nursing Center. Her funeral will be 3 PM on Saturday, September 19, 2020 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Richfield. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.

Born June 20, 1937 in Stanly County, NC, she was the daughter of the late William Daniel Eudy and Margaret Ruth Burris Eudy. She was a homemaker and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Richfield.

Survivors include two daughters Paula Aten and husband Daniel of Winnabow and Sheri Thomas of Nashville, NC, three brothers Lamar Eudy and wife Frances of Statesville, Sidney Eudy and wife Sue of Albemarle, Ervin Eudy and wife Teresa of Oakboro, a sister Myra Helms and husband Clyde of Midland, six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two children Hal James Thomas and Debbie Lynn Thomas and her husband Burnie Allen Barringer.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Alzeheimers Foundation.
