ROCKWELL -- The funeral will be Friday for Richard Delbert Miller, 57, Rockwell, who died Wednesday (Sept. 4, 2002) at Duke University Medical Center, Durham.
Born Aug. 17, 1945, in Rowan County, Mr. Miller was a son of Verna Canuup Miller, Rockwell, and the late Delbert Alexander Miller. He was a 1963 graduate of East Rowan High School and a 1965 graduate of Salisbury Business College.
Assistant manager of facility services at Rowan Regional Medical Center, he was a member of Organ Lutheran Church.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include wife Lana Miller Miller, whom he married June 5, 1966; son Wendle Miller, Rockwell; daughter Angie M. Harrison, Rockwell; brother Gary Alexander Miller, Rockwell; and three grandchildren.
Services: 4 p.m. Friday, Organ Lutheran Church, conducted by the Rev. John E. Pless. Burial, church cemetery.
Visitation: 6:30-8:30 tonight, Powles Funeral Home. At other times the family will be at the home.
Memorials: Rowan Regional Medical Foundation, Salisbury, NC.
