Franklin and Mamie Page borrowed the money to build their house on hwy 52 from Mamie's Uncle Dolph. She wrote, "With money borrowed from my uncle A D Morgan ($1200.00) our small house was constructed by John (grandfather), Dolph (son) and Herman (grandson) Brady. The two older men worked for 45¢ an hour and the young one for 35¢."
