LANDIS - Patricia Ann Gore Stancil, 56, of 103 Church St., died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007, at Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County in Kannapolis.
Born Sept. 11, 1950, in Hartford, Conn., Mrs. Stancil was a daughter of the late Austin Harvey Gore and Jayne Emerick Gore. She had retired as an over-the-road truck driver.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter Jennifer Lattarulo.
Surviving are husband Stephen Stancil of the home; son Joseph Oulette of China Grove; stepson Craig Stancil of Kannapolis; brothers Robert Gore of Vernon, Conn., and Richard Gore of New Hampshire; sister Dorothy Davies of East Orleans, Mass.; half sisters Mary Jane Wytas of Stafford Springs, Conn., and Kim Wilkinson of Apache Junction, Ariz.; and seven grandchildren.
Service: 11 a.m. Saturday at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel in Kannapolis with the Rev. Clayton Palmer officiating. Burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
Visitation: 7-8:30 p.m. Friday at Whitley's Funeral Home.
