Myrtle Loretta Cranford Greer
Myrtle Loretta Cranford Greer, 76, of Salisbury, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Carolinas HealthCare System NorthEast in Concord, NC.
She was born April 19, 1941 in Rockwell, NC to the late Earl and Ruby Brown Cranford. Myrtle loved to help others and to cook.
In addition to her parents, Myrtle was preceded in death by her Husband, Arthur Ryland Greer; and sister, Brenda Kay Cranford.
Myrtle is survived by her daughter, Karen Carriker and husband S. David of Waxhaw; son, Ted Shane Greer of Faith; brother, Earl Ray "Sonny" Cranford, Jr.; granddaughter, Julie Howell; two grandsons, Thomas Howell and Wyatt James Ryland Howell; two great-granddaughters, Bailey and Chloe; two special great-granddaughters, Elizabeth and Isabelle; and special friend, Alyssa Hucks.
The graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at the Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC.
Powles Staton Funeral Home of Rockwell is assisting the Greer family.
