ROCKWELL - Dana Leigh Kluttz Pickler, 44, of Rockwell, passed away Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, at her residence.
Dana was born July 31, 1963, in Rowan County, a daughter of Harry Lee Kluttz Jr. and Brenda Brown Kluttz of Rockwell. She was educated in the Rowan County schools, was a homemaker and a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Richfield. Dana enjoyed decorating her home, collecting angels, antiques and she also loved to fish.
Survivors are her husband, Ray Pickler, whom she married May 31, 2003; sons Justin Todd Gragg of the home, Ray Carl Pickler Jr. (Jaybird) and wife Bick of Rockwell; daughters Mandi Nicole Newton of Rockwell and Jill Pickler Platt and husband Ray of Salisbury; brother Darren Kluttz and wife Shaney of Rockwell; grandchildren Devin Furr, Madison Newton and Cody Pickler; and great-grandchild Aubrey Pickler.
Service: The funeral service will be held at 11 am Monday at the Powles Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Gene Sides, pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church, with entombment at Brookhill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at Powles Funeral Home from 6-7:30 tonight.
Memorials: Memorials may be sent to Rowan Regional Home Health & Hospice.
