Mrs. Lillie Marie Troutman Rowland, 85 of Gold Hill, NC went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at Northeast Medical Center, Concord, NC.
Mrs. Rowland was born July 13, 1919 in Cabarrus County, NC to the late Rufus A. & Beulah Harwood Troutman. She was educated in the Mt. Pleasant Schools and had retired in 1981 from Cannon Mills Plant # 1, Sewing Dept. She was a member of Old Country Baptist Church, Former member of the Young at Heart Club in Rockwell, NC.
Also preceded in death by her Husband, Ervin Rowland in 1979 and a Son, Roy Lee Rowland died 1981. Daughter: Shirley Ann Smith, died March 2004. Two grandchildren preceded her in death, Robert Lee Rowland and Rodney Wayne Holshouser.
Survivors: Sons, Delmer Rowland, Bob Rowland of Gold Hill, NC, Daughters: Marie Barringer of Albemarle, NC, Beulah Jane Trexler of Gold Hill, NC, Rachel Smith of Salisbury , NC, Brother:: Walter Troutman, Albemarle, NC, Sisters: Dorothy Mabe, Albemarle, NC, Hazel Hatley, Albemarle, NC, Grandchildren: 21, Great Grandchildren: 39 and Great Great-Grandchildren 14.
