Thursday, September 6, 2012 — Billie Dry Lisk, 89, formerly of the Endy Community, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2012, in Marietta, Ga.
Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2012, at St. Martin’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Judy Copeland officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery and afterwards the family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall.
Born March 28, 1923, in Concord, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Mary Freeman Dry.
Mrs. Lisk was retired from retail sales and was a member of St. Martin’s Lutheran Church.
She was married to the late J.W. “Lefty” Lisk.
She is survived by a son, John Lisk and wife Delaine of Marietta, Ga.; and grandchildren, Kyle Lisk, Samantha Lisk and James Laxton.
A son, Marvin Lisk, preceded her in death.
Stanly Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
