Blanch Hatley Basinger
Mrs. Blanch Hatley Basinger, 84 of Salisbury passed away on September 15, 2015 at Novant Rowan Medical Center. Mrs. Basinger was born in Stanly County on September 29, 1930, a daughter of the late John B. Hatley and Lula Smith Hatley.
Mrs. Basinger was a graduate of Richfield High School and had retired from Collins and Aikman in Albemarle. She was a member of Luther's Lutheran Church. Blanch enjoyed reading, crocheting and canning.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Ray Basinger, Sr. who passed away on November 19, 2011; daughter, Kay Basinger Morgan Hendrix; and also by two brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her sons Terry Lynn Basinger and wife Angie, Harold Ray Basinger, Jr., and grandchildren, Gabriel Basinger, Jason Morgan and wife Melissa, Cindy Rogers and husband Danny, Lynn Basinger and wife Beverly and Chris Basinger; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Morgan, Anna, Emery, Aubrey and Katelyn.
The family will receive friends at Luther's Lutheran Church on Saturday, September 19th from 10 to 11 am.
The funeral service will be at Luther's Lutheran Church on Saturday, September 19th at 11:00 am conducted by Rev. Tommy Beaver, Interim Pastor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Mrs. Blanch may be made to Luther's Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund, 4955 Richfield Rd Richfield NC 28137.
