Emma Krimminger Corl
Emma Krimminger Corl, 88, of Gold Hill, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Trinity Place in Albemarle, NC.
She was born February 16, 1934 in Lilesville, NC to the late Robert L. Krimminger and Dorothy Goodwin Krimminger. Emma worked as a certified nursing assistant at the Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks and later did private home care. She enjoyed gardening, canning, music and dancing. Emma loved the beach and traveling with her husband.
In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Elmer "Moto" Corl; daughters, Kathy Heilig Linker and Robin Elaine Corl; sister, Josephine Wilhelm and brother, Otis "Johnny" Krimminger.
Emma is survived by her daughter, Windy Lee Heilig of Rockwell, NC; two sons, William "Billy" Heilig and wife Angie of Misenheimer, NC and Kavin Corl of Gold Hill, NC; brother, Robert ""Bobby" Krimminger, Jr.; granddaughters, Leko Myers, Shannon Morris, Katie Story, and Amber Heilig; grandson, Evan Heilig; great-grandchildren, Crissy Frye, Allison Frye, Mathew Ferguson, and Liam Hejirika; and her cat, Baby.
The family will greet friends and relatives on Sunday, August 14, 2022, 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell, NC.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 14, 2022, in the Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell, NC, with Rev. Mark Loman, officiating.
Memorials may be made in memory of Emma Corl to Gold Hill Wesleyan Church, PO Box 286, Gold Hill, NC.
