Robert Corl

Robert Elmer "Moto" Corl, 76, of Gold Hill, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at his home.

He was born on July 4, 1939 to the late John and Myrtle Simmons Corl in Rockwell, NC. Robert "Moto" attended Rockwell High School. He worked as a Truck Driver for over 30 year and then went to work for Carolina Stalite as the Equipment Room Manager retiring in 2010.

He was a member of Gold Hill Wesleyan Church.

Robert "Moto" enjoyed watching high school sports and playing sodoku.

Robert "Moto" is survived by his Wife of over 46 years, Emma Krimminger Corl , whom he married June 28, 1969; Two Sons, Kavin Corl of Gold Hill, and Billy Heilig and wife Angela of Misenheimer; Daughter, Windy Lee Heilig of Rockwell; Four Granddaughters, Leko Myers, Shannon Morris, Katie Story, and Amber Heilig; Grandson, Evan Heilig; and Sister, Melva Adams of Jacksonville; and 3 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by Daughters, Robin Elaine Corl and Kathy Ann Linker, Brothers, John Corl, Donald Corl, and Jerry Corl

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 28, 2016, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016, 2:00 pm at the Powles Staton Funeral Home Chapel, Rockwell, NC. Burial will follow at Brookhill Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorials in memory of Robert "Moto" may be made to Gold Hill Wesleyan Church PO Box 286 Gold Hill NC 28071.
