Margaret Louise Hill Lyerly

Margaret Louise Hill Lyerly, 80, of Salisbury entered eternal rest with her Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at her son’s residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Gold Hill, NC on December 10, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Gertrude Lois Eller Hill and John Henry Hill.

Mrs. Lyerly graduated from East Rowan High School. She was a homemaker and worked in the textile industry. She was a member of Union Lutheran Church where she attended the Mildred Merrell Sunday School class.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cicero Lyerly, whom she married on August 1, 1965 and brother, Robert Hill.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Luther John Lyerly (Lauren); sisters, Linda Cauble (Phil), Brenda Cauble (Mike), and Mary Trexler (James); grandsons, Luther John Lyerly, Jr. and Luke Henry Lyerly.

Visitation: 2:00-2:45 PM Sunday, November 6, 2022 at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church Family Life Center, 9275 Bringle Ferry Rd, Salisbury, NC.

Service: 3:00 PM Sunday, November 6, 2022 at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dr. Jarrod Lanning officiating. Burial will follow at Union Lutheran Church Cemetery, 4770 Bringle Ferry Rd, Salisbury, NC.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Living Center, 1416 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. S, Salisbury, NC.
