Earl Henry Galloway, 88, of Gold Hill passed away on Monday October 24, 2022, at his residence.
Born in Darlington SC on December 11, 1933, he was the son of the late Mazalee Chapman and Toye Edward Galloway.
Earl was a US veteran and served in the US Navy from 1956-1960 as an airplane mechanic. Earl had a lifelong career as an auto mechanic and owner of Galloway’s Union 76 in Misenheimer NC. His hobbies included automobiles, go cart racing and playing cards.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Arey Galloway, siblings Jesse, Ophelia, Helen, Bernard, Lester, Lavada, Allen and Jerry.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons Mark Stephen Galloway (Rita), Johnathan Earl Galloway (Kim), stepdaughters Anita Maddaluna (Dave), Tammy Morris (Andy), grandchildren Carrie Baldwin (Alex), Tiffany Hollingsworth (Alex), Jani Galloway, Justin Gaylan, great grandchildren Jackson Baldwin, Isabella Baldwin, Maxwell Baldwin, Rayleigh Hollingsworth, sisters Edith Almond, Gaynell Funderburk brother Darrell Lee Galloway, and mother of Earl’s sons Edith B. Galloway Gaither.
