Mary Glenn Bunn James
Mary Glenn Bunn James, 77, of Norwood passed away Wednesday night, April 24, 2013 at CMC-Northeast.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00PM, Sunday April 28, 2013 at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood. Rev. Daniel Flynn will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte on Tuesday, April 30, 2013.
Mrs. James was born April 14, 1936 in Wilmington, NC to the late Robert Bunn, Sr. and Mary Kathleen Helms Bunn. She was a graduate of Central High School in Charlotte, 1954 then Presbyterian School of Nursing in 1958, and was a Registered Nurse. Married to Dave in 1957, they spent 24 years in Northern Kentucky raising their two sons. They retired to Norwood to be closer to their family.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, David Earl James of the home; sons, David "Mark" James and Douglas "Doug" Michael James; brothers, Robert Bunn of Norwood, Clarence J. C. Bunn of Mount Gilead and David Bunn of Charlotte; grandchildren, Dylan Perry James and Evan Kathleen James.
