Mr. Ernest Cuthbertson James, 88, died Nov. 17, 1988, at Charlotte Memorial Hospital. Funeral is 11 a.m. Monday at Oaklawn Cemetery. Visitation is 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Wilson Funeral Home.
Mr. James, a native of Darlington, S.C., retired in 1955 after 33 years with REA Express. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors are his wife, Ila; sons, Ernest James of Asheville, Charles James of Springhill, Fla., David James of Edgewood, Ky., Gene James of Sutter, Calif., Julius James; daughter, Mrs. Helen Mitchell of Tampa, Fla.; brother, Harry James of Tampa, Fla.; sisters, Mrs. Mae Seago of Tampa, Fla., Mrs. Elsie Stiles; 16 grand-children; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
Memorials can be made to First Church of the Nazarene, Charlotte, NC.
