Lisa Eagle Bailey

Lisa Eagle Bailey, 53, of Salisbury, passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021 at her residence in Salisbury, NC.

She was born August 21, 1967 in Concord, NC to the late Doy Eagle and Gladys Troutman Eagle, who survives. Lisa graduated from East Rowan High School in 1985 and Pfiefer College. She worked as a Manager for Matthews Greenhouses. Lisa taught water aerobics at the Saleeby Fisher YMCA, enjoyed gardening, spending time at the beach and playing softball. She was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Fankie Wayne Bailey; two daughters, Misty Ciara (Joshua ) Freeborn of Gold Hill and Megan Annette Bailey; two sisters, Heidi Hatley and Clara (Brian) Goodnight; two brothers, Hollis Eagle and David (Regina) Eagle; two grandsons, Caleb Freeborn and Jacob Freeborn; two brother-in-laws, William (Janice) Bailey and Carl (Jamie) Bailey; two sister-in-laws, Albery (Greg) Fielder, Sabrina Beasley; father-in-law, Carl Bailey; two half-sisters, Linda (Eddie) Altman of Lexington, SC and Janice (Gary) Mull of Statesville, NC; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends and relatives on Saturday, August 21, 2021, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell, NC.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 22, 2021, in the Liberty United Methodist Church, Gold Hill, NC, with Pastor Charlie Curtis and Rev. Robin Albright, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery.
