Elsie Mae Trexler

Mrs. Elsie Mae Trexler, 89 of Rockwell died March 13, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Trexler was born October 3, 1917 in Rowan County, daughter of the late Ivy W. Kluttz and Alice Isenhour Kluttz. She was educated in the Rowan County Schools, and retired from Cannon Mill in the Folding Room as an inspector. Mrs. Trexler was a lifelong member of the Organ Lutheran Church, a life member of the Women of the ELCA.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, David Earl Trexler, who died Jan.28, 2004 and a son Glenn Trexler who died February 7, 2004.

Surviving are three sons, Troy Trexler, Roy Trexler, and David Trexler all of Rockwell. Six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren also survive.

The funeral will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Organ Lutheran Church, conducted by the Rev. Terrell Long, Pastor, with burial in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Powles Funeral Home from 7:00 to 8:30 PM Friday.
