Sylvia Waller Hamilton
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Mrs. Sylvia Kent Waller Hamilton, 72, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012,, at her home.
A native of Salisbury, N.C., Mrs. Hamilton was a daughter of the late Raymond Waller and the late Frances Cranford Waller. She was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church, the Straw Hat and Denim Club, the Tirzah ARP Tirzites and Epiphany OTD Club. She was employed with Winn Dixie with 20 years of service.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved her church family, cooking, tending her flower garden and reading.
Surviving are her husband, Charles Henry Hamilton; children Charles D. Hamilton of Tennessee, Jeffery S. Hamilton, Lisa M. Marsengill and Mary H. Creighton, all of Rock Hill, and Raymond M. Hamilton of Georgia; her sister, Susan Abernethy of Salisbury; her brother, Linn Waller of Peachland, N.C.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheri Livingston.
Service: A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, March 26 at Epiphany Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Jeffrey L. Lingle officiating.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, March 25 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel and other times at the home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Hamilton's name to Epiphany Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 4763, Rock Hill, SC 29732.

ROCK HILL, S.C. - Mrs. Sylvia Kent Waller Hamilton, 72, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012,, at her home.
A native of Salisbury, N.C., Mrs. Hamilton was a daughter of the late Raymond Waller and the late Frances Cranford Waller.
