Ralph "Scott" Hudson
Mr. Ralph "Scott" Hudson, 54 of Salisbury, NC passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010 at the Hospice Unit of the W.G. Hefner VA Medical Center, Salisbury. Scott was born October 23, 1955 in Rowan County the son of James Milton Hudson, Sr. and Doris Corl Hudson both of Salisbury.
Scott was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, a veteran of the US Army, a member of the American Legion, and was a welder by trade. Scott enjoyed the beach very much.
Survivors in addition to his parents are, sons, Gabriel Hudson of New Orleans, LA, Damian Hudson of Swansboro, special friend, Debra Myers of Salisbury, brother, James M. Hudson, Jr. of Salisbury, sisters, Jennifer Hudson, Newport and Carol Goodman of Kannapolis, and two grandchildren.
Visitation: 1:00 to 2:00 PM Friday at Powles Funeral Home, Rockwell.
Funeral Services: 2:00 PM Friday, Sept. 10, 2010 at the Powles Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Clarence Sifford, interim pastor of Faith Lutheran Church.
Burial will follow at Faith Lutheran Church Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by the North Carolina National Guard and the Rowan County Veterans Honor Guard.
