Monday, July 7, 2014 — Alvin Ray Eudy, 82, of Albemarle, N.C., passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014, in Forrest Oakes Nursing Center, Albemarle.
A graveside service was at 1 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2014, in Anderson Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Ron Honeycutt officiating.
Born September 7, 1931, in Stanly County, N.C., he was the son of the late Cornelius Eudy and Letha Morton Eudy and was a retired employee of Alcoa. He was a member of Anderson Grove Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shelby Jean Gardner Eudy. A brother, Don Eudy; and a sister, Eva Mae Lefler, also preceded him in death.
Survivors include son, Phil Eudy and wife Cherokee of Nashville, Tenn.; and brother, Ted Eudy of Albemarle.
Stanly Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
