Brenda Kay Bulla Upton

Brenda Kay Bulla Upton, 68 of Salisbury passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. Brenda was born on April 22, 1947 in Rowan County, a daughter of the late Alfred Murray and Nell Bulla.

Brenda was a graduate of Boyden High School. She retired from Cannon Mills Plant #7. Brenda was a member of Eastside Baptist Church, she enjoyed fishing going to the beach and her beloved dog Dixie.

In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her husband Terry Lee Upton; her daughter, Shelia Dianne Wyatt; and brother, Bill Kirk.

Brenda is survived by her sons, Steven Lee Wyatt and wife Belinda of China Grove, Norman Murray Wyatt and wife Tina of Elizabethton, TN, and Richard Eugene Wyatt of Salisbury; brother, Charlie Bulla of Faith; and sister Mary Jo Cato of Rockwell. Brenda is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at Powles Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Eastside Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Joe Black, Pastor.

Burial will follow at Brookhill Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Mrs. Upton may be made to Eastside Baptist Church.
