KANNAPOLIS - Roy Harold Wyatt, 65 of Kannapolis, died Sunday Jan. 21, 2007 at NorthEast Medical Center, Concord.
He was born May 26, 1941 in Rowan County to the late Gaither P. Wyatt & Ruth Eller Wyatt. Mr. Wyatt was a graduate of A.L. Brown High School in Kannapolis and was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the US Navy and a truck driver for Bennett Transportation .
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his daughter Shelia Diane Wyatt in 1986.
Survivors include sons, Steven Lee Wyatt of China Grove, Norman Murray Wyatt of Hampton, Tenn., Richard Eugene Wyatt of Richfield; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation: 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Powles Funeral Home, Rockwell and the remainder of the time at the home of son Steven Lee Wyatt of China Grove.
Funeral Services: 2 p.m. Thursday, Powles Funeral Home Chapel, Rockwell, conducted by Rev. David Crook, Interim Pastor of Mt. Hope United Church of Christ.
Burial to follow at Brookhill Memorial Gardens, Rockwell.
Powles Funeral Home of Rockwell is serving the Wyatt family.
