Irvin Kenneth Shepherd, 60, of 705 Long St. died Monday at N.C. Cancer Institute in Lumberton.
Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Hartsell Funeral Home. Burial will be in the cemetery of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Salisbury, of which he was a member.
A native of Salisbury, he was a truck driver for the N.C. Department of Transportation.
Surviving are wife, Maryann Hinson Shepherd; sons, Kenneth Shepherd, Edward Shepherd, both of Rockwell, James Shepherd of Mocksville; brothers, Clifford Shepherd, Robert Shepherd, both of Salisbury, Roy Shepherd of Lexington; sisters, Mrs. Ann Sides of Salisbury, Mrs. Vergie Wall of Greensboro; nine grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today.
