Notes for Luther Adam Fry
Luther was fatally injured in a one car accident on Stokes Ferry Road near his home when his Datsun station wagon overturned and he sustained a ruptured liver, broken ribs, and a fractured skull.

In the early 1940's Luther was barbering in a shop near the Five-Points area in west Salisbury. He was planning to open a two-barber shop at Five-Points and told Franklin Page to inform Jesse Page that he wanted him as his second barber. The pay was room and board and $5 per week. There was a delay in getting the Five-Points shop ready, so Jesse actually worked with Luther ten days in the other location.

By 1942 Luther's nerves were bothering him so bad that he wanted out of barbering. After a long day at the shop he could not sleep at night. He sold the shop to Jesse.
