Nathan Russell Bollinger

Mr. Nathan Russell Bollinger, 53, of Salisbury went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 26, 2013. Mr. Bollinger was born in Guilford County on December 30, 1959 to Cora Alice Wilson Bollinger and the late Lawrence H. Bollinger.

Mr. Bollinger was a 1978 Graduate of East Rowan High School. He worked as a customer service representative at Lowes in the paint department for 10 years. He had also worked at Cannon Mills for 22 years prior to working at Lowes. Mr. Bollinger had attended Liberty United Methodist Church in Gold Hill and was a ham radio operator and loved photography.

He is preceded in death by one deceased sister, Karen Wright and also her husband David.

Mr. Bollinger is survived by his wife Pam Stoner Bollinger who he married on September 23, 1993; brothers, Tim Bollinger and wife Netra of Rockwell and Paul Bollinger and wife Cindie of Thomasville; sisters, Jan Wright and husband Bobby of Conover, and Judy Brown and husband Rynn of Richfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Powles Funeral Home.

Services: The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 30, 2013 at Liberty United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Charlie Curtis, pastor and Brian Hancock, Bible Teacher at North Hills Christian School. He will Lie In State for 30 min. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
