Mabel Kluttz Lingle

SALISBURY - Mabel Kluttz Lingle, 94, of Salisbury passed away Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 at Autumn Care of Salisbury.

Born Sept. 22, 1919 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie A. Kluttz, Sr. and Bessie Canup Kluttz.

Mrs. Lingle was a graduate of Woodleaf High School and worked for Belks department store for over 25 years. She was a lifelong member of Franklin Presbyterian Church.

Her husband of 62 years, Luther Voight Lingle preceded her in death Nov. 2, 2008.

She is survived by her sister, Lois K. Webb (Richard) of Salisbury.

Funeral Services & Visitation: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013 at Franklin Presbyterian Church with Dr. Tom LaBonte officiating. The family will see friends before services from 10-11 a.m. in the church parlor. Burial will follow services in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Franklin Presbyterian Church.

SALISBURY - Mabel Kluttz Lingle, 94, of Salisbury passed away Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 at Autumn Care of Salisbury, was preceded in death by her brother,. Charles A. Kluttz Jr. on Nov. 10, 2001. He was omitted from an earlier obituary.
