Ruth Eudy Albright

CHINA GROVE - Ruth Eudy Albright, 67, of 4130 Patterson Road, died Wednesday (Aug. 3, 2005) at Rowan Regional Medical Center after a period of declining health and six weeks of serious illness.

Mrs. Albright was born May 11, 1938, in Cabarrus County to the late Houston Alfred and Dora Mabry Eudy. She was a graduate of Odell High School in Concord and attended Queens Business College.

Mrs. Albright was a member of Thyatira Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of the Friendship Bible Class, a former youth adviser and formerly served as president of the Presbyterian Women of the Church. She was a member of the Patterson Grange and the Patterson Home Demonstration Club. She had been employed by Cannon Mills.

Survivors include her husband, Robert F. Albright, whom she married Aug. 12, 1961; daughter Misty Lee Brantley and husband Keith of China Grove; sister Shirley Helms and husband Melvin of Kannapolis; grandson Jesse Brantley of China Grove; and niece Terrie Miller and husband Arnold of Columbus, Ga.

Service : 4 p.m. Friday at Thyatira Presbyterian Church, conducted by the Rev. Sandra Kern. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation: 3-3:45 p.m. Friday at Thyatira Presbyterian Church. The remainder of the time, the family will be at the home on Patterson Road.

Memorials : Memorials may be made to Thyatira Presbyterian Church.

Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home, China Grove, is serving the Albright family.
