SALISBURY - Mr. Charles Richard Hill, 69, of Salisbury, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
Mr. Hill was born on Aug. 12, 1943, in Rowan County, a son of Jettie Frances Barringer Hill and the late Virgil Leo Hill Sr.
Mr. Hill attended Rockwell High School and previously worked at Cannon Mills as a Weaver.
Mr. Hill is survived by his daughter, Charlene; four grandchildren; brothers Ray Hill and wife Diane, Jimmy Hill and wife Jane and Junior Hill and Roberta, all of Gold Hill.
Service: There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, June 19 at 5 p.m. at St. Stephens Lutheran Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Constance Garrett, pastor.
Memorials: May be made to St. Stephens Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund.
