Margaret Jacobs Misenheimer

Mrs. Margaret Jacobs Misenheimer, 85, of Rockwell passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House.

Born September 25, 1932 in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Charles B. Jacobs and Ethel Bringle Jacobs.

She was educated in the Rowan County schools and was employed by Cannon Mills, Plant #1 for 45 years before retiring.

Mrs. Misenheimer was a member of The Arbors United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Stacy Misenheimer; brothers, O.C. Jacobs, Irvin Jacobs, Ray Jacobs, James Jacobs, and Homer Jacobs; and a sister, Leoma Byrd.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 64 years, Charles William Misenheimer; son, Mitchell Misenheimer and wife Jan of Rockwell; daughter, Debora Misenheimer of Rockwell; brothers, C. B. “Coot” Jacobs and wife Sybil of China Grove and George Jacobs of China Grove.

The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 PM Monday (April 16) at the Summersett Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 PM Tuesday (April 17) at Rowan Memorial Park with the Rev. Craig J. Sefa, minister of The Arbors United Methodist Church.
