Camilla Gill Oliver
Camilla Gill Oliver, 63 of Hilliard, Florida passed away September 15 after an eight year battle with breast cancer.
She was born in Savannah, Georgia, raised in Richmond Hill, Georgia. She moved to Hilliard, Florida in 1971.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years: Robert Oliver; her children: Susan and Robert Oliver, Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida; two sisters: Patricia Sumner and Nancye Howell; two brothers: Jimmy Gill and Wayne Gill, both of Richmond Hill, Georgia; many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents William "Dub" and Lucy Goodall Gill.
Pallbearers: Dr. Wallace Holland, Scott Howell, Brian Nelson, Bob Donovan, Marvin Leininger and Lamar Thrift.
Honorary Pallbearers: Tyler Holland, Tanner Howell, Chase Gill, Ralph Guthrie and Mike Bovinette.
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 16, 2010 from 6 until 8 PM at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, Georgia and at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel in Richmond Hill on Friday, September 17, 2010 from 12:00 until 2:00 PM.
Funeral Services will begin at 2:00PM with Brenda Crawford officiating.
Burial will follow in Richmond Hill First Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Gateway for Cancer Research, Schaumburg, Illinois.
Arrangements are under the direction of Shepard Funeral Home, Folkston, Georgia and Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel, Richmond Hill, Georgia.
