Betty Jo Nash
Betty Jo Bost Nash, 74, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday April 24, 2013 at Stanly Regional Medical Center.
Her funeral service will be 3 PM Friday April 26, 2013 in the Stanly Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Mark Medlin officiating. Burial will follow in the Poplin Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 prior to the service.
Born August 21, 1938 in Stanly County, NC and was the daughter of the late Samuel Liston Bost and Lessie Boger Bost.
Mrs. Nash was a homemaker, a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and she loved to crochet.
She is survived by her husband Delma Ray Nash of Albemarle. Other survivors include three sons: Ronnie K. Nash of Norwood, Billy J. Nash and wife Rhonda of Oakboro, David Ray Nash and wife Rene of Albemarle, a daughter Teresa Adams and husband Carson of Chesterfield, SC, one brother Melvin C. Bost of Albemarle, one sister Evelyn B. Puckett of Cheraw, SC, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister Doris Whitley, a son Bobby Lee Nash and grandson Josh Adams.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Albemarle, NC.
