GOLD HILL - Mr. Ronnie Clark Trexler, 56, of Gold Hill, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013, at his residence.

Ronnie was born July 30, 1956, in Rowan County, the son of the late Thomas "Tom" Trexler and Eva "Hazelene" Fraley Herion of Salisbury.

Ronnie was a graduate of East Rowan High School, a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Salisbury, and was the retired owner and operator of RCT Trucking of Gold Hill.

He loved taking his grandkids fishing and to the beach. Ronnie enjoyed farming, his tractor, working with cattle and coastal fishing.

Survivors include wife Linda Hipp Trexler, who he had been married to for 22 years; sons Joshua Trexler of Gold Hill, Del Misenheimer and wife Renee of Pewaukee, Wis.; daughters Tonja Wallace of Rockwell, Carrie Bardinas and husband Paul, Jennifer Rogers of Salisbury; brother Donnie Trexler and wife Sonya of Gold Hill; grandchildren Kimberly, Kayla, Emma, Austin, Regan, Gage, Allison, Noah, Luke and Jacob; niece Sydney; nephew Colton; and a "special brother," Jan of Holden Beach.

Visitation: 12 noon to 1:45 p.m. Thursday, March 28 at Powles Funeral Home, Rockwell.

Funeral Service: 2 p.m. Thursday at the Powles Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Gene Sides, pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Salisbury.

Powles Funeral Home of Rockwell is assisting the Trexler family.
