GOLD HILL - Margie Misenheimer Wagoner, 82, of Gold Hill, died at her residence Tuesday, April 24, 2007.

Mrs. Wagoner was born May 20, 1924, in Cabarrus County a daughter of the late Charlie Victor and Maggie Blackwelder Misenheimer. She was a 1942 graduate of Mount Pleasant High School, had worked at Cannon Mills, was a clerk at the Gold Hill Market and was a homemaker.

She was a member of Gold Hill Wesleyan Church, taught Sunday School for many years, was a member of the church choir and was a first responder with the Gold Hill VFD.

Mrs. Wagoner was a devoted wife, mother and caregiver for her family and friends.

Also preceding her in death was a daughter, who died in 1942.

Survivors include her husband, Leo "Pearl" Wagoner, whom she married Dec. 5, 1941; and daughter Rebecca Jean Claycomb of the home.

Visitation: The family will be at Powles Funeral Home in Rockwell from 7-8:30 tonight and at the residence the remainder of the time.

Services: Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the Gold Hill Wesleyan Church by the Rev. Mark Lowman, pastor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the service.

Memorials: Memorials may be made to Gold Hill Wesleyan Church, Building Fund.
