Allerid Park Josey
SALISBURY - Allerid Park Josey, 71, of Salisbury, died Tuesday, Dec, 27, 2005, at Rowan Regional Medical Center.
Born July 30, 1934, in Rowan County, Mrs. Josey was a daughter of the late Carl H. Park and Nellie Overcash Park. Educated in the Granite Quarry schools, she was a homemaker. She had worked in the textile industry for many years and was also custodian of area schools and churches in the past. Mrs. Josey was a life-long member of Organ Lutheran Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister Linda Thomas on Nov. 9, 2005.
Survivors include husband "Bobby" Gene Josey, whom she married in February 1950; son Randy Josey and wife Angie; brother Carl "Bobby" Park of China Grove; sister Helena Heilig of Rockwell; grandchildren Susan Wall and husband Chris and Randy Eugene Josey Jr., all of Salisbury; and great-grandchild Hunter Wall of Salisbury.
Graveside service: 11:30 a.m. Friday at Organ Lutheran Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Robert Yount, visitation pastor.
Visitation : 10-11 a.m. Friday at Powles Funeral Home in Rockwell. The remainder of the time, the family will be at the home of granddaughter Susan Wall.
Memorials : Memorials may be made to the Organ Lutheran Church, Hand Bell Fund.
