BELMONT - Toby Osborne Park, 73, of Belmont, died Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
She was born May 6, 1936, in Rowan County to the late Harold Nelson and Carrie Castor Osborne. She was a 1954 graduate of Landis High School and attended Evans Business College for one year.
Toby was employed by Wachovia Bank, was a patron of Redeemer Lutheran Church and a member of WELCA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Nelson and Carrie Castor Osborne.
Survivors include her husband, James Ray Park of Belmont; son James Ray Park, Jr.; daughters Lori Park Blevins (James) of Belmont, Sherri Park Goode (Ken) of Salisbury; brothers Mick Osborne of Concord, Jan Osborne of Rockwell; sister Cindy Wilhelm of Kannapolis; grandchildren James R. Park III, Dustin James Blevins, Kenneth Allen Park, Samantha Maria Blevins and Grace Cameron Blevins.
Visitation: 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday at Redeemer Lutheran Church with service to follow at 12 p.m. conducted by Rev. Steve Pipho. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Memorials: Redeemer Lutheran Church, Charlotte, NC.
Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home, China Grove, is assisting the family in making arrangements.
