Nancy Burleson Lambert, 76 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle.
Mrs. Lambert was born August 26, 1937 in North Carolina to the late Therlow Burleson and the late Pauline Furr Burleson. She was also preceded in death by husband, Gene Lambert, brother, Lamar Burleson.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 11:00 am at North Albemarle Baptist Church and will be officiated by Pastor Brad Lynch. Burial will follow at the Stanly Gardens of Memory at 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.
Survivors include son, John (Cynthia) Kirk of Albemarle, NC, daughter, Donna (Guy) Peters of Charlotte, NC, brother, Calvin (Tammy) Burleson of Albemarle, sister, Lovell Mauldin of Albemarle, step-daughters, Vickie (Jeff) and Connie of New London, Grandchildren, Elisabeth and Joshua Peters, great-grandson, Trey Keable.
Memorials may be made to North Albemarle Baptist Church.
