ALBEMARLE - Pauline Furr Burleson, 81, 812 Elaine Drive, died Friday (Nov. 26, 1999) at Stanly Memorial Hospital.
Born June 21, 1918, in Stanly County, Mrs. Burleson was a daughter of the late Lenora Dennis and Marshall Filmore Furr. A cafeteria manager at Albemarle Senior High School, she was a member of North Albemarle Baptist Church and the Widows Club.
Her husband, Therlow Burleson, preceded her in death.
Survivors include son Calvin Burleson, Albemarle; daughters Nancy Lambert and Lovell Mauldin, both of Albemarle; brother Tommy Furr, Albemarle ; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services:4 p.m. Monday, North Albemarle Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Wyman Bolin and the Rev. Grady Taylor. Burial, Fairview Cemetery, Albemarle.
Visitation:6-8 p.m. Saturday, Hartsell Funeral Home-Albemarle. At other times the family will be at the home of a daughter, Lovell Mauldin, 812 Elaine Drive, Albemarle, N.C.
