Tuesday, June 5, 2007 — Annie Lillian Moyle Almond, 73, of 30285 Red Hill Road, Albemarle died at 12:53 p.m. on Monday at Stanly Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 6 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home- Albemarle. Services will be held Wednesday, June 6 at 2 p.m. in Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel The Rev. Nathan Fox will officiate. She will be buried at Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery in Albemarle. Born July 10, 1933 in Stanly County, Almond was retired from Allison Manufacturing in Albemarle. The family will meet at her home, 30285 Red Hill Road, Albemarle. She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Homer Ray Almond of the home; sons Johnny Ray Almond and wife Jackie of Albemarle and David Allen Almond and wife Laurie of Albemarle; daughter, Lorene (Almond) Tucker and husband Robbie of Albemarle; brothers Jack and Foy Moyle both of Mt. Pleasant; sisters Ruby Moyle Eudy of Albemarle, Hilda Moyle Bean of Concord and Betty Moyle Newell of Concord; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Luther Foy Moyle, her mother Stella Eudy Moyle, her son Terry Wayne Almond and her brother Max Moyle. Memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes Association or Millingport VFD First Responders.
