Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013 — Louise Frick Culp, age 88, of Badin, N.C., died at 10:15 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, in her home.

The family received friends at Stanly Funeral Home in Albemarle from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, 2013.

Her funeral was at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at Grace Baptist Church, Albemarle. Rev. Delane Burris officiated and burial was in Fairview Memorial Park, Albemarle.

Born May 20, 1925, in Stanly County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Arnold Lee Frick and Mary Jane Holt Frick.

She was a retired employee of Wiscassett Mill Company and a member of Grace Baptist Church, Albemarle. She loved to go to the beach.

Mrs. Culp was married to the late Floyd Sidney “Pete” Culp who preceded her in death April 12, 2006.

An infant daughter, Carolyn Jane Culp, and two brothers, Grady Frick and James Frick, all preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Danny Pete Culp and wife Jo of Badin, N.C.; one daughter, Barbara Ann Culp Rinehardt of Badin, N.C.; one sister, Rachel Hamilton of Norwood, N.C.; four grandchildren, Joseph Culp and wife Mandy, Michael Rinehardt and wife Wendy, Amy Moore and husband Robert and Jason Culp and wife Emily; nine great-grandchildren; Allison Rinehardt, Jesse Rinehardt, Brittany Moore, Nathan Moore, Jonah Moore, Sydney Culp, Brennan Culp, Myles Culp and Maddie Culp. Also surviving is a special friend, Maxine Morgan.

Memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church Building Fund, or Hospice of Stanly County.

Stanly Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
