Sharon "Sherry" Peddycord Morefield
Mrs. Sharon "Sherry" Peddycord Morefield, 59, of Salisbury, NC passed away on Friday, Nov. 28, 2008 at Rowan Regional Medical Center, Salisbury. Sherry was born Oct. 31, 1949 in Orangeburg, SC, the daughter of the late Chester Arnold Peddycord and Adelaide Gordon Peddycord. Sherry was a graduate of Orangeburg High School. Sherry had worked for the American Heart Association as a Bookkeeper and she also refinished pianos and antique furniture. Sherry was a member of Providence United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents preceding her in death, her husband, Stephen Frank Morefield, passed away on Sept. 2, 2005.
Survivors: son, Monty Rast and Kristi and Maggie Willis of Orangeburg, SC, Mark Morefield and wife Katherine of Mooresville, NC, daughters, McCall Morefield of the home, Danna Morefield Salley and husband, Austin of Lexington, SC, brother, Chester Peddycord and wife, Nancy of Orangeburg, SC and grandchildren, Sheldon Salley, Whitney Salley, Morgan Morefield and Taylor Morefield.
Visitation: The Family will be at the church 30 minutes before the service and will receive friends after the burial in the church cemetery.
Funeral Services: 3:30 PM Sunday, November 30, 2008, at Providence United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Dan Gobble, Pastor.
Memorials may be made to Providence United Methodist Church.
