Patsy Jane Honeycutt, 79, of Locust, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Trinity Place in Albemarle.
Patsy was born June 7, 1941 in North Carolina to the late John Filmore Lambert and the late Sarah Rosetta Hinson Lambert.
She was preceded in death by brother, Lonnie Lambert, sister, Bertie Richie, brother, Stancil Lambert, brother, RJ Lambert, brother, Horace Lambert, brother, Archie Lambert, sister, Annie Fisher, sister, Katie Furr, sister, Betty Morgan.
Patsy worked alongside her husband Gene at Nationwide Insurance in Locust for more than 30 years. She was a lifelong Sunday School teacher and was known for her beautiful prayers. Patsy loved life and lived it to its fullest, and always enjoyed a good laugh. She dearly loved her family, and especially adored her husband Gene of nearly 60 years.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:15 pm, Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Bethel Baptist Church, Locust. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. officiated by Rev. Brian Bolding, Rev. Denise Honeycutt, and Rev. Pat Watkins.
Survivors include daughters, Denise (Pat Watkins) Honeycutt and Jeanne (Jerry) Eudy of Locust; granddaughter, Jenna (Damion) Gilfillan; grandson, Jeremy (Katie ) Eudy; great-granddaughter, Allie, great-grandson, Jake, great-grandson, Cameron, great-granddaughter, Caylee; brother, Carl (Johnnie Anne) Lambert; and sister, Mary (Fred) Brault.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Community Home Care & Hospice,1024 Albemarle Rd., Suite 904, Troy, NC.
