SALISBURY - Mrs. Sadie Louise Stoner Wilhelm, 94, of Salisbury, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks.

Born Feb. 5, 1918, in Rowan County to the late Mittie Belle Morgan Stoner and John Knox Stoner, she was a graduate of Rockwell High School Class of 1937. Mrs. Wilhelm retired in 1983 from Carolina Maid.

She was a longtime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir for many years, was a Sunday School teacher and was a member of Women of The Church.

Mrs. Wilhelm was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, James S. "Jim" Wilhelm, on Sept. 8, 2004; and siblings Pearl Mable Knight, Maggie Romaine Knight, John Dowie Stoner and James Everette Stoner.

She is survived by a son, Ken Wilhelm and wife Jeane of Salisbury; sister Bessie Doris Huffman, and brother Oliver Roy Stoner, both of Hampton, Va.; three grandchildren, Mark Wilhelm and wife Tracy, Jodi Livelsberger and husband John and Susan White and husband Robert; and five great-grandchildren: Taylor, Allie, Marina, Abby and Madilyn.

Visitation: Visitation will be held 10-11 a.m. Tuesday (June 5) at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Service: The funeral follows at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, conducted by Rev. Floyd W. Bost and Rev. William S. Ketchie. Burial to follow in church cemetery.

Memorials: May be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund.
