Margie Boger Troutman

SALISBURY - Margie Boger Troutman, 87, formerly of Gold Hill, died Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at Brightmoor Nursing Center.

Mrs. Troutman was born July 27, 1919, in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late Calvin and Annie Bell Frick Boger. She was educated in the Cabarrus County Schools, was a homemaker and was of the Wesleyan faith.

Her husband, Challie Alexander Troutman Sr., died Jan. 31, 1995.

Survivors include sons Junior Alexander Troutman, Robert Lee Troutman and Freddie Gene Troutman, all of Gold Hill, and Joe Allen Troutman of Salisbury; daughters Mary T. Dennis of Latta, S.C., and Annie Mae Barr of Kannapolis; sister Minnie Downum of Kannapolis; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation: The family will be at Powles Funeral Home in Rockwell from 6-8 tonight; and the remainder of the time, at the home of a granddaughter, Michelle Russell of Granite Quarry.

Services: Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Powles Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Steve Holshouser, pastor of Calvary Baptist Tabernacle. Burial will follow at the Matton's Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Powles Funeral Home of Rockwell is assisting the Troutman family.
