SALISBURY - Claude Calvin Hedrick, 85, of Salisbury, passed away Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center.
Born Jan. 29, 1924, in Davidson County, he was the son of the late Pearl Morgan Hedrick and Claude Jacob Hedrick.
Mr. Hedrick was a graduate of Lexington High School. A member of Grace Lutheran Church, he owned and operated Hedrick Used Cars.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine Miller Hedrick, whom he married May 16, 1964; daughters Brenda Hedrick Bates and Denise Hedrick Bates (Ray), all of Lexington; grandchildren Belinda Bates Thomas (David) of Lexington, Nicholas Allen (Lisa) of Orlando, Fla., and David K. Allen of Lexington.
Visitation and Service: Visitation is 1:30-2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8 at Grace Lutheran Church. The service will follow at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Jerome Cloninger officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
At other times, the family will be at the residence.
Memorials: Grace Lutheran Church Building Fund, 3020 Grace Church Road, Salisbury, NC.
