Miriam Kuykendall Deal
Miriam Kuykendall Deal, 97, of Oak Island and formerly of Faith, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021.
She was born November 23, 1923, in Rowan County to the late Hal B. and Pearl Gantt Kuykendall. Mrs. Deal attended Faith Elementary School and graduated from Granite Quarry High School. She was employed by Cannon Mills Plant No. 1 for 50 years where she worked in the wash cloth department. Mrs. Deal was a lifelong member of Faith Baptist Church in Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Deal; and brother, Doug Kuykendall.
Mrs. Deal is survived by her son, Keith Deal and wife, Terri, of Oak Island.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 28, in Faith Baptist Church Cemetery, Faith, NC, conducted by Pastor Stephen DeWalt.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church Building Fund, Faith, NC.
