Sarah Beaver Wagoner

Mrs. Sarah Beaver Wagoner, 85 formally of Misenheimer, NC passed away on Monday, January 24, 2010 at Rowan Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Wagoner was born February 14, 1925 in Rowan County, daughter of the late A.A. Beaver and Lizzie Misenheimer Beaver. She was a 1942 graduate of Rockwell High School and was a cook at Pfeiffer College and the Meadows of Rockwell, worked in the shipping department of Cannon Mills and was a homemaker. Mrs. Wagoner was a life long member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, a member of Auther Shipton Sunday School Class, and former member of Rockwell Young at Heart Club, WELCA, and the Miller Russell American Legion Auxillary Post 112.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wagoner is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Spencer Wagoner whom she married on March 14, 1952, brothers Charlie Beaver, Herman Beaver, Junius Beaver, Rufus Beaver, Ben Beaver, Billy Beaver, sisters Edith Corriher, and Nola Culp Peeler.

She is survived by her brothers, Edd A. Beaver of Rockwell and Hugh A. Beaver of Rockwell and a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rockwell conducted by Rev. Bruce Sheeks, pastor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Wednesday, January, 26, 2011 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church Improvement Fund.
