Mrs. Grace Peeler Baker age 80, of Salisbury passed away Friday May 18, 2007 at the Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks, Salisbury. She was born November 14, 1926 in Rowan County the daughter of the late Clyde Flake Peeler and Vertie Eller Peeler. She was a graduate of Boyden High School and retired from Fieldcrest-Cannon Mills. A member of Neel Road Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of over 60 years Herbert L. Baker of the home. Son Barry L. Baker of Salisbury, Daughters Deborah Baker Donaldson and husband Gordon of Salisbury and Bonnie Baker Graham and husband Donald also of Salisbury. Her brother Bill Peeler and Wife Eleanor and Sister Frances Peeler Wensil both of Salisbury. Five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be 4:00 PM Sunday May 20, at James C. Lyerly Chapel. Burial will follow at City Memorial Park. Visitation will be Saturday May 19, 2007 from 7-8:30 PM at Lyerly Funeral Home.
