SALISBURY - Pauline Bare Basinger, 76, of Salisbury, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at The Laurels of Salisbury.
Mrs. Basinger was born Feb. 29, 1932, in Wilkes County to the late Ethel Church Bare and Fred Bare. She was educated in the Ashe County schools and had worked at Fiber Industries. She was a member of Sherrills Ford Baptist Church.
Mrs. Basinger is survived by her husband, Hayden M. Basinger; two sons, Steven Basinger and wife Tracy and David Basinger, both of Albemarle; two daughters, Debra Jean Upright and husband Clyde of Salisbury and Beth Sides of Albemarle; one brother, Dallas Bare and wife Meurial of North Wilkesboro; two sisters, Clara Boston and husband Meral of Kannapolis and R.V. Kerly of Salisbury; two grandchildren; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother Wayne Bare and a twin sister Betty Jean Bare.
Service: A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 10 at 1 p.m. at Summersett Memorial Chapel. The service will be conducted by Rev. Harold Hughes. Burial will follow at Rowan Memorial Park.
Visitation: A visitation will be held from 12-1 p.m. Saturday at Summersett Funeral Home.
Memorials: Memorials may be made to Sherrills Ford Baptist Church.

SALISBURY - Pauline Bare Basinger, 76, of Salisbury, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at The Laurels of Salisbury.
